K3 at JW Marriott Aerocity brings you the flavors of the Northern Province of China by the Masterchef Oliver himself, celebrating a 10-day long festival from Thursday, 11th May to Sunday, May 21st, 2017 wherein the most exotic delicacies are up on the menu. We were among the first few fortunate tasters to experience Chef Oliver’s Live Grilled chow.
The menu has Jia Chang Dou Fu (Fried tofu with bamboo shoot) and Gan shao yu (a deep fried whole fish with sesame chili sauce) which were among the favorites of all present that evening.
Zhu Tong Fan (Bamboo Rice), a signature recipe of the Chef was delectable and its presentation style was unlike any other.
K3 was decorated in a ravishing Red look with complimenting lights giving a desirable experience to all Chinese Lovers. A friendly, well- mannered and neat serving was offered by the JW Marriott staff. For the festival, the Chef’s cooking zone is decorated with oriental ornamentation and is placed right next to the dining area.
Most popular was the Live Grill Counter where Chef Oliver himself cooked his signature dish Tie ban that has Sole fish, chicken, squid, prawn, lamb, scallop, octopus and lobster as varieties, bringing a new concept to sea food.
Tummy filling delicious Shui jian bao that is Pan fried Bao with choice of veg or non-veg stuffing was on top of my favorite list.
Apart from the food, Drinks menu was a surprise in its own. Among the Cocktails, most popular were the Mango Margarita (A combination of Premium Tequila, Fresh Mango Puree, Szechuan Pepper, Fresh Lemon Juice, and Tobasco), Beijing Bellini (Premium Sparkling Wine and Homemade Cranberry Puree) and Smoked Dragon Fashion (Premium Whiskey, Star Anish, Cassia Sticks, Demerara Sugar, Homemade Bitter, and Orange Zest).
Chef Oliver’s Kitchen is a “Do not miss it” food festival for all Chinese lovers to experience the ultimate oriental cuisine and a perfect dinner outing option under an extravagant roof.
The festival is on from Thursday, 11th May to Sunday, 21st May 2017 for dinner at K3, an all-day dining restaurant at JW Marriott New Delhi Aerocity.
