You work all day, and play all night. Does your smartphone keep up? ZenFone 3 Max’s magnificent 4100mAh battery lasts through the whole work day and long into your playtime. Asus has launched 2 variants of Zenfone 3 Max. The one with 5.5 inch display screen and the other one has 5.2 inch screen. The model number of Zenfone 3 Max which has 5.5 inch screen is ZC553KL. In this post we will have a look into 5.2 inch variants of Asus Zenfone 3 Max ZC520TL.
The metal uni-body design contoured with 2.5D glass touch screen is matched around the back by a gently curving rear cover that feels as natural to hold as your grip. The back panel has a chrome like strip on the top and bottom but it is good that Asus has not gone overboard with the bling, and the chrome adds a classy touch to the proceedings. ZenFone 3 Max comes with a 5.2-inch high-definition IPS display for great detail, and intense 400nits brightness for easy viewing even under the brightest light conditions. And with a thin 2.25mm bezel, it’s more display and less bulk. The fingerprint security of the ZenFone 3 Max is another feature that makes it perfect for the adventurer. The fingerprint sensor of the ZenFone 3 Max ensures easy access for users while keeping any important data safe.
Asus Zenfone 3 Max is powered by 1.25GHz quad core Mediatek MT6737M(Cortex-A53) SoC with 3GB of RAM and Mali-T720 GPU. It has 32GB of internal storage and optional expandable storage through micro SD card. But having such a slow processor in a par feature device takes away the joy of using it.
Battery is where ASUS earns its name. The battery is probably one of the best parts of this device. With power master technology, it optimizes battery life(has standby time of whopping 30 days) and provides reverse-charging capability as well. The ZenFone 3 Max is equipped with a massive 4100 mah battery, able to double up as a power bank to charge other digital devices; and perfect for battery-draining activities such as mapping and navigation during your travels.
Any moment is a picture-perfect moment with the 13MP Pixel Master camera and 5MP front camera. The ZenFone 3 Max ensures sharp selfies and clear video chats. Color reproduction is on a good level and so is field of view. The HDR mode expands the dynamic range by four times and enhances brightness by 400%. Albeit with little loss on detail, Low Light mode performance is average.
Overall, ZenFone 3 Max has a stellar battery with a reverse charging feature and a decent camera but the downside of this phone is a few minor flaws with slow SoC.
The ZenFone 3 Max retails from 10,999 INR onward.
